AmazonSmile is a website (operated by Amazon) that has the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to a charitable organisation of your choice.
If you are an AmazonSmile customer, you can now support the R.E.A.L. Foundation Trust – a charity that supports innovative and creative educational solutions for children and young people who are “lost to learning” and “hard to place” – by using the Amazon shopping app on your Android device.
With busy shopping days ahead in the run up to Christmas, you can follow the instructions below to turn on AmazonSmile and start generating donations for the R.E.A.L. Foundation Trust:
1. If you have the latest version of the Amazon shopping app, open the app on your Android device.
2. View ‘Settings’ and select ‘AmazonSmile’.
3. Follow the in App instructions to complete the process.
Unfortunately AmazonSmile is not currently available for iOS (Apple) users. Hopefully this will change soon, but shoppers can still support the R.E.A.L. Foundation Trust by using www.smile.amazon.co.uk/.
