There has been some brilliant fundraising events in aid of the R.E.A.L. Foundation Trust and the refurbishment of the Gallows recently.
Another successful Murder Mystery evening was held at Woodhouse Road. The evening was well supported and enjoyed by all, with lots of laughs and a great meal cooked by the R.E.A.L. Alternative Provision School (RAPS) cafe. The evening raised an amazing profit of £250 for the R.E.A.L. Foundation Trust (by the way the Doctor did it!).
The Charity Fashion Show earlier this month was also a brilliant night with a fantastic turn out. Lots of fun, fundraising and the purchasing of fabulous festive bargains led to the evening raising over £300 for the R.E.A.L. Foundation Trust!
Thank you to everyone who took part and supported these two events. All money raised will go towards supporting innovative and creative educational solutions for children and young people, between the ages of 5 and 19, who are “lost to learning” and “hard to place.”
R.E.A.L. Learning Manager Claire Bishop has also been leading the fundraising charge for the refurbishment of the Gallows.
On 30th November, a brilliant £65 was raised at a games night for staff and their families at the Gallows. Staff introduced each other to their favourite Christmas games and exchanged ideas on which games would be good to play with learners.
Well done to everyone for their fantastic fundraising efforts!
