R.E.A.L. Education Bus Official Launch

On Wednesday 7th February the R.E.A.L. Education bus was officially launched at Kings Mill Way.

Nicola Caulton, Branch and Community Manager at Mansfield Building Society and Councillor Philip Owen, Chairman of Children and Young People’s Committee at Nottinghamshire County Council cut the ribbon to officially launch the education bus onto the road.

Chris O’Brien, R.E.A.L. Education’s Project Development Manager said: “Our thanks go to Mansfield Building Society for their donation of funds to convert the bus into the fantastic educational resource it is now, and Nottinghamshire County Council for donating the vehicle.

“Also, a special thanks to Paul Hartstone and the team at Three One Zero for the fantastic eye-catching design and Ian and the team from Judson Signs who turned the design into a reality.

“Now to hit the road!”

This innovative mobile educational resource will bring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) resources straight to young people in the East Midlands. Look out for details of visits in future newsletters.
